Prayers for the Hoffman Family

A few days ago we heard the tragic news about the death of close friends in Oman.  Michelle Hoffman, her daughter Julia (8), and her mother-in-law were killed in a car wreck in Minnesota.  Michelle was the wife of Mike Hoffman and a mother of 4: Julia, Jason, Jake, and Joey.  Jason (5) was also involved in the accident.  Jason was just released from ICU and is recovering well. 

Michelle was Liz's co-teacher, but more importantly a prayer partner and close friend.  She was an incredible Godly woman and inspired everyone around her.  Her love for Christ, family, and friends was evident in everything she did.  Michelle was such a blessing to have our first year in Oman.  She took Liz under her wing and had a tremendous impact on her life.  She also was sure to remind me EVERY time I saw her how lucky I was to be married to such an incredible and beautiful wife.

Michelle's husband Mike is also a good friend.  He also works at TAISM, is very active in our local church, and is a leader in the AWANA children's ministry.  He has requested that instead of cards or flowers, please consider an equivalent donation to Michelle's favorite ministry, Compassion International.  www.compassion.com
