A friend from church kindly volunteered to play the bagpipes for our class. After hearing the native Scottish gentleman play Amazing Grace at a funeral, I now know that I need to have bagpipes when I die. There is something magical about them... or maybe just the song Amazing Grace. When he arrived at school, he changed his dress to the traditional Scottish kilt. The children were in awe! However, when the bagpipes began to play, a patterning of plugging their ears and clapping began. They were just a little loud for 4 year olds! :) Iain played a traditional Scottish tune, Amazing Grace, and Jingle Bells. Thank you Iain for coming to our class! We enjoyed it so much!!!!!!
